Return, Warranty, and Workmanship Policies

Parts & Accessories:

• Parts & accessories in new, unused condition, with original tags may be returned within 14 days for refund or store credit.*

• After 14 days parts and new accessories, unused, with tags may be returned for store credit within 60 days after date of purchase.*

• Used parts sales are final unless otherwise stated.

• Used parts installed by our workshop will have a warranty period of 30 days.

• Special order parts are not eligible for return unless otherwise stated.

*All returns must have valid proof of purchase

Bicycles:

• In stock bicycles may be returned within 7 days in new and/or unused condition

for store credit only.

• Special order bicycles are not eligible for return unless otherwise stated and are subject to additional shipping charges.

• Used bicycle sales are final and are not eligible for return.

Layaway:

• A deposit of 20% is required for all Layaway orders.

• Layaway orders must be paid in full within 6 months of down payment unless otherwise stated.

• Canceled Layaway orders will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Trade-ins:

• All trade-ins are final.

• “Seller” must provide valid ID, contact info and address for trade-ins.

• “Seller” will forfeit the value of the trade-in if another party has a claim or title to the bike because of theft, etc.

Warranty:

• Bikes, parts and accessories sold in the store are eligible for their respective manufacturers' warranty terms.

• Most bikes come with a 5- or 10-year (or lifetime) manufacturers’ frame warranty.

• Most eBikes we sell carry a 2-year manufacturers’ warranty on the electrical system.

(Lectric brand eBikes carry only a 1-year warranty but can purchase an additional 1 or 2 years from the third party insurance carrier Extend).

• Used bikes carry a 6-month warranty, excluding wear and tear on components.

Repairs and Service:

• In order to provide reliable and high quality workmanship Ferris Wheels Bike Shop adheres to the generally accepted Bicycle and eBike standards of care laid out by the National Bicycle Dealers Association and all industry manufacturers (Shimano, Sram, DT Swiss, Jamis, Brompton, Tektro, FSA, Bosch, etc., and many others).

• Standard service and repairs are warrantied for 30 days.

• If mechanics' recommendations to the customer are ignored, repair and service warranties may be denied. (For example, we cannot always fully guarantee a tube replacement if it is installed in a tire that is worn)

• If there is a problem with your service or repairs after 30 days which you believe should be covered under warranty, please reach out to us and we will be happy to assist you. We do allow exceptions past the 30 days period on a case by case basis.
